C++ Developer for Production Support

We at FileWave are looking for a C++ Developer for Production Support (m/f/x) to join our international team in developing and providing technical support for various projects in order to advance our enterprise software solutions.

The focus of your work will be providing code and technical support to our Customer Support team, as well as close teamwork with our developers in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

Your mission

Work with our Customer Support team to provide technical solutions for IT Administrators using our product
Create your own patches and tools to optimize your work and the support team's one
Build software applications and develop/expand features and products using C++ and other necessary programming languages
Document code development and revisions
Create and use software tools to help automate writing code
Perform back-end (daemon) services written in C++
Develop front-end tools written using Qt.

Your profile

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Experience with C++ development
Experience coding in Python and Django preferred
Understanding of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
Comfortable with developing on Mac, Windows, and/or Linux - the more the better
Basic knowledge of macOS / Linux / Windows / Android / iOS / ChromeOS is a plus 
Ability to work well under stress
Confident and effective in using the command line
Excellent English command is required; other languages are a plus
Strong attention to detail
Availability to work within the US Eastern Time Zone schedule, starting from 7:00 AM (1:00 PM CET)
